All Fired Up
Lou-Rich has been a part of the Albert Lea, MN business community for nearly 50 years, and when approached recently about making the signage that will hang outside the new Fire Rescue station in town, we jumped at the chance to be involved. Our team was very proud and humbled to be asked to help design, fabricate and paint the signs that will showcase the brand-new firehouse. While not a typical project for Lou-Rich, it was a labor of love for many Lou-Rich employees. Lee Gulbrandson, Engineering & Business Development Manager helped spearhead the project. “This was a special project for our team. Every time anyone drives past the new facility, they will see the signs we made. Pretty cool stuff for sure”. This new firehouse has been in the works for a decade and was much needed in order to house the vehicles, equipment and training area. The two signs were electronically designed, laser cut out of stainless steel and powder-coated steel for durability. Gulbrandson added, “We couldn’t be prouder to be part of this exciting project for our city”. All of Lou-Rich wants to say congratulations to the Albert Lea Fire Rescue organization, and thanks for letting us play a small part in making the new building happen.
