Heather Groeneweg has worked on the Lou-Rich team for the past 6 years as a Buyer in the Purchasing department. Heather has recently been promoted and is currently transitioning into her new role as Assembly Supervisor. “I truly enjoy working with my co-workers. I’ve been able to work a little with each department and gain knowledge from each, which has been very rewarding,” Heather said.
When asked what working for an employee-owned company means to her, she replied, “Working with employees that have the same goals is KEY. Knowing that we are all working together to accomplish the same goals is very rewarding. It feels like a family that you didn’t know you needed to make you a better coworker.” Heather hopes that after working with Lou-Rich our customers feel we have done everything to make the best product for them, from quoting a part, to shipping it out the door.
When Heather is not working, she enjoys going to CrossFit at HUSH Performance and Nutrition in Austin, MN. She also enjoys gardening, camping, meal prepping and spending time with her family. Heather has been married to her husband John for 7 years in September and has a set of twins named Ridley and Sophia.
