Logan Vietze has been a member of the Lou-Rich team for 4 years. Logan graduated from Albert Lea High School in 2010. From there, he went to North Iowa Community College and graduated in 2013 with a welding and blueprint diploma. He started at Lou-Rich in 2018 as a TIG welder. From there, he was a Manufacturing Technician and then was recently promoted to Fabrication Lead. “I am new to the position, but I am enjoying it so far. The thing I like most is the challenge. Coming up with a fix or a solution to a problem is very fulfilling to me,” Logan stated.

When asked what working for an employee-owned company means to him, Logan responded, “Working for an employee-owned company to me is great. Everyone has the same mentality and that is to get the job done as well as you can. Everyone takes a little more pride in what they are doing, and we all keep each other accountable. We all have the same goal of getting a good part to the customer on time and we get to see firsthand the benefits of doing so.”

Logan has a wife, Erika a 2-year-old daughter, Chandler and a blue tick hound named Bert. He has been on the Clarks Grove Fire Department since the spring of 2010 and is a certified first responder. He also is part of the Lou-Rich first responder team as well. In his spare time, he works for a couple different farmers in the fall and in return gets to deer hunt just a few miles west of Albert Lea, MN. He has also taken up the lost art of pinstriping and hopes to get into lettering as well.

Congrats on your recent promotion and thank you for being a valuable member of the Lou-Rich Team, Logan!
