This past May, a medical emergency occurred in the Lou-Rich North Plant facility. When faced with this unexpected event, Lou-Rich team members rose to the occasion, demonstrating their quick response, knowledge, and compassion, ultimately saving a life.
About the North Plant
The Lou-Rich North Plant is one of three separate Lou-Rich facilities located in Southern MN. This facility specializes in fabricating spray tubes for a well-known agricultural equipment organization, as well as a few other large-scale projects. With less than 15 team members working in this shop, the North Plant is a tight-knit group with a strong sense of camaraderie.
So, when a medical emergency occurred in their facility, it wasn’t a surprise when the team jumped into action, administering life-saving measures until professional help arrived.
Recognizing the North Plant Team
In recognition of their heroic response, the Lou-Rich North Plant team gathered for a special employee lunch. During the event, a plaque was presented to them, honoring their remarkable efforts. The plaque read, “In recognition of the employee-owners, whose swift reaction and selfless efforts saved the life of a fellow coworker on May 1st, 2023. Your actions serve as a shining example of teamwork and compassion.”
